Terms of Service

Last updated Nov 1, 2026

These terms cover your use of TraderDx, a trading journal run by the operator of TraderDx ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use TraderDx.

What TraderDx is, and isn't

TraderDx records and analyses trades you have already made. It turns your broker's fills into trades, works out profit and loss, and shows statistics, reports and check-up findings about your own history.

  • It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
  • It is not a broker. It never places, changes or cancels orders, and never moves money.
  • Check-up findings describe patterns in your past trades. Past results don't predict future ones.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms.
  • An account is for one person. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.

Your data

The trades, notes, journal entries and other content you put into TraderDx stay yours. You let us store and process them only to run TraderDx for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Only upload data you're allowed to share with us.

Imports depend on what your broker's files and connections contain, and they can be incomplete or wrong. Figures in TraderDx are for your own review: check anything that matters against your broker's statements, and don't use TraderDx as your tax record.

Broker connections

Where TraderDx connects to a broker, it asks only for read access, and the connection is also governed by your agreement with that broker. A broker can change or end that access at any time, which may stop syncing.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • use TraderDx for anything unlawful, or to store other people's data without their permission;
  • try to get into other users' data, probe or break our security, or overload the service;
  • copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the service.

Plans, trials and billing

Free has the limits shown on our pricing page. New users receive 14 days of Pro from signup without entering a card, then return to Free unless they subscribe or receive a Pro grant. A card-free trial never starts paid billing automatically.

When checkout is available, Pro costs US$19 billed monthly or US$180 billed annually (equivalent to US$15 per month). A subscription starts when purchased and renews on its selected billing interval until cancelled. The checkout shows the amount before you agree to pay.

Manage billing and cancel from Settings → Your plan. Cancelling at the end of a paid period keeps Pro access until that period ends. After expiry, Free limits apply and your existing trade history stays accessible. Deleting your account cancels recurring subscriptions before removing your data. TraderDx is still in beta; features and availability may change.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings; that permanently removes your data, as the Privacy Policy explains. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk, and will tell you why where we can.

Disclaimers and liability

TraderDx is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not responsible for trading or financial decisions you make, or for losses that follow from them. Where the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about TraderDx is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (during the free beta, nothing). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as TraderDx changes. For significant changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top shows the current version.
